how to survive your flight

a.k.a. luisa's guide to packing for and living through your long hauls

written on a long haul from amsterdam to lima

to start. my credentials: i fly international all the time, and i do not have a bad time.

more seriously. i've probably hit 100+ flights in four years of college, much of them long haul since i live in lima, which is far from everything.

in no particular order:

finally, my trusty, beautiful front and back set-up for travelling:

big bag is cotopaxi allpa 35l del dia, which opens suitcase style and packs really nicely. small bag is a ospray daylite plus, which looks nice enough to be a work backpack and is rugged enough to be a hiking daypack.

ok, you're good to go! (pat pat) enjoy your flight to the best of your abilities, and please refrain from clapping when the plane lands.
